HalloVISTA was a success this year as it returned to an in-person event.
Northwest Vista College Marketing & Strategic Communications would like to thank everyone who worked on, donated to, volunteered at, and attended the event!
“Attendance estimates are at around 1,500 people, with some people staying for the complete event and others only on campus for the fun and games or coming later just to see Ghostbusters: Afterlife by the lake,” said Strategic Communications Coordinator and HalloVISTA Coordinator Lisa McDaniel.
Almost 1,000 mini pumpkins and 1,500 crafts, carnival, and contest prizes were given out, along with other giveaways from departments and programs.
A special thanks to PTK for the candy drive and to the NVC departments and programs that participated with an exhibit table or with a trick-or-treat table! Lisa said everyone was very creative and the kids and families had a great time visiting!
Next year’s planning starts in January and MarComm is going to try something new by seeking departments, programs, and services who would like to sponsor an area for HalloVISTA 2023. Be on the lookout for information coming soon!
