The health and wellness of students at Northwest Vista College is the highest priority.
Out of an abundance of caution, the Alamo Colleges District and Northwest Vista College have made some temporary changes to the way we provide instruction and operate in light of the growing concerns related to the coronavirus.
Return to Campus Plan Highlights – Fall 2020
- Student are our top priority.
- Fall 2020 classes will be remotely.
- Temperature checks will be required for all on campus in the summer and fall of 2020.
- Face coverings will be worn by all on-campus and social distancing protocols will be followed.
- No on-campus events will be held in the fall of 2020.
- Student Services at each college will maintain a one-stop, one-office, student support location (by appointment only) for essential on-site student success services in Fall 2020
- Operations will return to Level 5 “Stay Home, Work Safe” activities on Nov. 26 and remain at that level after Thanksgiving through the end of the fall 2020 term.
- A process and plan will be in place to respond to any persons on-site who are or become ill with COVID-19.
