Congrats to Northwest Vista College Digital Media Coordinator Viviane Marioneaux. Her IMED-Web Design II (2315) class is now nationally recognized and a certified course for meeting standards of Quality Matters standards.
Quality Matters is a nationally-recognized program in which 1,300 colleges and universities throughout the world subscribe to the QM program and use the Higher Ed Rubric to improve course design. Viviane said her goal is to get two more IMED courses certified by Quality Matters.
Quality Matters said on its website that “Courses that successfully meet QM Rubric Standards in an official (Subscriber-Managed or QM-Managed) course review are eligible for certification and carry the QM Certification Mark that is specific to the QM Rubric version used in the course review.
Currently there are 1,185 recognized courses in the 2016 list.
