New Enrollment Specialist in Vista Central-Welcome & Admissions

Michelle Oxendine-Lewis is a new enrollment  specialist at Vista Central-Welcome & Admissions Center for Northwest Vista College. Michelle and the team at Vista Central are responsible for providing a positive and supportive experience for first-time, transfer and retuning students during the admissions and enrollment process.

Michelle brings to NVC her experience in higher education administration and academic support. She earned her B.A. in English Literature from Rutgers University where she was later employed at the Rutgers Newark – Campus, Office of the Registrar and later became the Academic Scheduling Officer.

While employed at Rutgers, Michelle also owned and operated the Oxendine Dance Studio in Union, NJ for 20 years. Prior to moving to San Antonio, Michelle served in the role of administrative support associate for the Department of Health Services and Information Management at East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina.

Michelle Lewis, a native of Newark New Jersey, loves to travel and has a passion for performance and fine arts. She also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, especially her husband Gerald Lewis Jr. and her son Aaron Lewis.
