Northwest Vista College continued its Moving Diversity Forward series on Sept. 9. The Zoom workshop explores concepts centered on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice or DEIJ.
Last semester, the four workshops attracted about 500 attendees. The Sept. 8 topic explored how using inclusive language can disrupt racism. The workshop is hosted by NVC’s two DEIJ groups – The Collaborative and the NVC Black Lives Matter-Association. The next workshop is Friday, Oct. 14.
