In Loving Memory: Lynne Dean

The Northwest Vista family has been saddened by the untimely passing of Lynne Dean, who passed away on Aug. 24 from complications related to cancer treatment.

Since 2010, Lynne served as NVC’s director of Institutional Advancement, interacting with thousands of people including students, faculty, staff and community members. Lynne’s expertise in developing relationships resulted in the hugely successful Friends of the Arts (FANs) and the NVC Business Council.

During her tenure, Lynne also coordinated college-wide activities such as commencement and Wildcat Days. Lynne served students and alums with a sense of compassion and care. The memorial for Lynne was held on Sept. 5. A reception followed at the Palmetto Center for the Arts, where Lynne held many FANs receptions.
