Congratulations to Anna Harwin of the NVC Math faculty for submitting a winning proposal for the 2018 Annual Gateway Course Experience Conference. Her proposal, “Guiding Students Through their Best Math Path: An Iterative Approach” will be a featured presentation at the conference scheduled on March 25-27 in Houston.
Hundreds of institutional leaders, faculty, student success specialists, teaching and learning technology and institutional research professionals will be at the conference to create and/or improve support for students in gateway courses.
The conference is hosted by the John N. Gardner Institute for Excellence in Undergraduate Education, which is an outgrowth of the Policy Center on the First Year of College, and a national leader in efforts to improve undergraduate learning and retention at institutional, regional, and national levels.
