The Faculty Development team wants to be your launchpad for finding innovative ideas for your classes, new tools to engage students, and even new ways to best accommodate students in class – whether online or face-to-face, they have the latest information and tools for you. Spring into action and come join them at one of the many Faculty Development sessions.
Faculty Development Fridays has also resumed as of Feb. 4 and Remote Round Tables, which will be on Tuesdays at noon, will be coming back as well. Gear up for some great lunchtime conversations. Additionally if you need to get advice from other adjuncts or need to share stories or voice your opinion, the Adjunct Senate meets every third Monday of the semester at 5:30 pm via Zoom. Check the Adjunct Senate Canvas page or your Canvas inbox for your invite information. Upcoming meetings are Feb. 21, March 21, April 18 and May 16.
Also Save the Date for the 12th Annual Pedagogy Conference on Saturday, March 26. This conference is open to all elementary, middle, high, and college educators as well as college students interested in the teaching field. If you have questions, email Elizabeth Plummer at [email protected]
