Learn Suicide Prevention Training to Help Students

Northwest Vista College is committed to creating a suicide-safer community for students, faculty and staff. We aim to provide critical response to people struggling in order to save lives.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day Suicide First Aid interactive workshop to help participants recognize when someone may have suicidal ideations and develop a plan to support their immediate safety. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to sign-up for this no-cost opportunity. We can make a difference….together.
