After taking a short hiatus, HalloVista returned this year to spread some free Halloween fun for the community.
For parents and kids who have never visited NVC, HalloVista is a great way to attract guests to the campus. The event featured trick-or-treating, a pumpkin (bull ride), a mobile Escape Room, vendors and a carnival area by Live Oak Hall, food trucks, and the “Ghostbusters Afterlife” movie overlooking the lake.
The event is planned by NVC Marketing & Strategic Communications. It is coordinated by Lisa McDaniel and her MarComm team of Renata Serafin, Melissa Monroe-Young, Paul Vallejo, Shawn Harward, Ricardo Gonzalez, and Gerona Nylander.
In addition to MarComm, many faculty, staff, and students volunteered to make it a success. Even NVC Interim President Debi Gaitan and Vice President Daniel Powell helped pick adult and young costume contest winners.
Visitors to some of NVC’s social media platforms said:
“First time at this event, we had a great time.”
“All the activities were just enough without going overboard.”
“Thank you for the great event.”
“We had a blast.”
