HalloVISTA 2022 is on FRIDAY, October 21 – 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. in front of DWWC and end at 7:00 pm when the movie begins.
This year we are showing Ghost Busters: Afterlife
The audience for the event is the community, current and prospective students, faculty and staff. Every year we’ve had 500 – 1,000 attendees of all ages at this event and we are expecting a good turn out this year!
Please consider promoting your Institute, department or program by reserving a table today!
- Trick-or-Treat Table (10) – we will transfer $20 to your FOAP to help with decorating costs and donated candy will be provided. (You can bring your own candy, too!)
- Activity/Information Table for kids and kids at heart (adults). Some ideas include:
- A scary BIOLOGY Department skeleton and a discussion on bones,
- A chilling SPEECH on Edgar Allen Poe (or one of his poems),
- A hair–raising CHEMISTRY experiment,
- A haunting MUSIC ensemble,
- A frightening HISTORY of Halloween,
- A thrilling halloween or Ghostbusters inspired DANCE,
- The PSYCHOLOGY of the brain (mmm…brraaiins)!
We have a cauldron of ideas and can help you find a way to promote your department or program!
