Early Voting for Texas Primary Runoff Election

Northwest Vista College will open one building for voting as requested by Bexar County. This opening is for a limited purpose mandated by election code statue. The early voting Texas Primary Runoff Election will take place from Monday, June 29, 2020 until Friday, July 10, 2020 in Mountain Laurel Hall. The hours for early voting are as follows:

  • Mon., June 29 – Thurs., July 2 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sun., July 5 from 12 noon – 6 p.m.
  • Mon., July 6 – Fri., July 10 from 8a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4th

All voters are asked to wear masks for the health of all involved especially those most vulnerable. Please follow campus signage and abide by directions from safety personnel. This is the Primary Runoff Election that was postponed to July 14 per Governor Greg Abbott’s Proclamation regarding COVID-19.

The purpose of the Primary Runoff Election is to finalize the Democratic and Republican primary candidates for the ballot in November’s general election. To view a sample ballot, please click on the links below.

Bexar County Elections Department staff will handle the cleaning and disinfecting during voting and have procedures and protocols in place to minimize risk for voters. Please note that NVC faculty and staff will not be allowed to enter the building for other purposes outside of voting, which means they will not be able to access their offices housed in that building during that time.
