Dr. Reyes Guevara Receives Distinguished Community College Staff Award

Congratulations to Dr. Yolanda Reyes Guevara, who is the recipient of the 2023 Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE) Distinguished Community College Staff Award.

This award recognizes superior levels of professionalism and accomplishment in the areas of initiative, productivity, critical thinking skills, effectiveness and customer service skills.

TACHE is a professional association committed to the improvement of educational and employment opportunities for Chicanos in higher education. 

Yolanda is the interim dean of NVC’s Student Success/director of Enrollment. She will receive the award at their annual conference Feb. 22-25 in Houston at the awards banquet on Feb. 25.
