Cypress Campus Center Renovation Project Begins

Ground Turning at CCCNorthwest Vista College recently held the celebration of the Cypress Campus Center renovation project.

Community leaders, faculty, staff, and students joined Alamo Colleges District Board Chair Dr. Clint Kingsbery, Chancellor Dr. Mike Flores, and Northwest Vista College President Dr. Amy Bosley for the event.

The “ground turning” at the Cypress Campus Center is the starting point for the renovations that are a part of the 2017 Capital Improvement Project. The newly renovated campus center is expected to be open in 2025 and will create spaces for student engagement, a one-stop shop for students to receive tutoring, a hub to support dining, a multipurpose space, and an innovation suite, including a student and faculty makerspace.
