The Northwest Vista College campus uses the same amount of water that about 50 houses consume on a daily basis.

San Antonio-based Rackspace Hosting is hoping to turn up to 10 Northwest Vista College students into “Rackers” by offering them jobs with the international company.

In 2012, NVC Employees raised $57,944.12 for student scholarships (Alamo Colleges Foundation), The Fund for the Arts and the United Way.

The “Second Friday All College Meetings” will resume for the fall on Friday, Sept 13.

NVC Org Learning is pursuing multiple strategies this fall to support employee development. For the open enrollment classes available to all full and part-time employees, we're seeking to provide a variety of topics in more accessible locations and hours.

NVC’s Advanced Water Treatment program was on both Daytime @ Nine on July 24 and on SA Living on July 29.

NVC has started a campus-wide rechargeable battery recycling program (try saying that three times fast). Kicked-off at NVC’s Earth Day celebration this past April, this program recycles all rechargeable batteries that are beyond their life cycle and no longer accept a charge.
