In an effort to ease the transition of students transferring from Northwest Vista College to the University of Texas at San Antonio, there is now a full-time UTSA transfer specialist housed at the Cypress Campus Center.
[image 1]On March 4, the Northwest Vista College Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) liaisons gathered for a pilot Information Literacy Assessment. Thirty QEP Liaisons have been identified from each academic and college area to help impact student learning through our Information Literacy QEP.
[image 1]Thanks to the NVC Business Council and the NVC Workforce Education & Training area, the college is slated to add an Associate of Applied Science in Customer Service/Sales Operations this fall.

Northwest Vista College celebrated its annual scholarship recognition breakfast for donors and students on Feb. 12 in the Huisache Hall Banquet Room.
[image 1]Love was in the air for the February Bragging Breakfast – that is much love for Northwest Vista College.
Northwest Vista College has historically been known for its increasing enrollment, but the college is showing progress in other categories, such as graduation rates, developmental learning and the percentage of minority students earning degrees.
