Congratulations to NVC’s Bernie Zertuche, an Alamo Colleges superintendent, for recently achieving his Certified Educational Facilities Professional designation.
Last Friday, some of us had the opportunity to attend the annual Northwest Vista Scholarship Recognition Breakfast where we thanked individuals and companies for their donations and provided the opportunity for them to connect with students who benefit from the donations.
Congratulations to Adolfo Butch Cardenas of the NVC English Writing Center for publishing “Por la Calle North Claremont: Beto Stories” this past December.
Northwest Vista College has been featured in the media lately.
The nation’s leading researchers on cooperating learning, Roger and David W. Johnson, will be on campus Friday, March 1 to share their knowledge and skills with NVC instructors.
[image 1]NVC Org Learning conducted a New Employee Orientation (NEO) session on February 19-20 for 17 NVC employees.

As part of the NVC Peace and Conflict Studies emphasis, faculty completed training in the curriculum from the internationally recognized Red Cross program on International Humanitarian Law (IHL). <
[image 1]Northwest Vista College’s annual scholarship recognition breakfast on Feb. 15 once again provided scholarship donors a way to meet the recipients of the funds and learn how the scholarships have impacted student lives.
