Information is needed for an incident that occurred in Parking Lot #9 (back of campus near Facilities) at approximately 10 am on Wednesday, March 6.
[image 1]NVC College Services hosted a spring break theme All College meeting, complete with tourism trivia, prizes and beach balls bouncing in the air.
[image 1]On March 2, Charles Hinkley, Ph.D., of the NVC Philosophy department and NVC chair of Humanities, and Laura Cavicchi, LPC, of the NVC Psychology department, presented academic papers at the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics 22nd Annual Meeting in San Antonio.
Thanks to June Pedraza, Ph.D., NVC English coordinator, Northwest Vista College will be the host for the 2014 NACCS' Tejas Foco conference, titled “Chican@ Studies in Texas: Surviving and Thriving in our Communities.”
Congratulations to the NVC Community Development team. Their “Celebrate Vista” project received Honorable Mention for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education accolades competition.
Less than a year of construction, the new parking garage at Northwest Vista College is already 50 percent complete. It’s estimated that the garage could be open by the upcoming fall semester.
