The New Employee Orientation (NEO) is a 1-1/2 day event.
The Employee Giving Campaign officially kicked off with a bang on Sept. 16 at the September All College Meeting.

Northwest Vista College and Alamo Colleges take crisis planning seriously. Over the last several months, Alamo Colleges has ramped up its emergency training efforts in the wake of deadly tragedies on educational campuses across the nation.
Students in NVC's Advance Water Treatment program recently received a visit from SeaWorld San Antonio.
The Northwest Vista College campus uses the same amount of water that about 50 houses consume on a daily basis.
[image 1]The Northwest Vista College Public Relations team with the support of other teams and individuals across the college, was awarded the First Place Lone Star Award by the Houston Press Club for the “President’s Report 2012: Imagining the Possibilities.”
San Antonio-based Rackspace Hosting is hoping to turn up to 10 Northwest Vista College students into “Rackers” by offering them jobs with the international company.
Coffee is MAGICAL! Okay, that may be a little bit of an over statement, but I think it’s safe to say though that coffee is a staple of the morning ritual for many of us!

In 2012, NVC Employees raised $57,944.12 for student scholarships (Alamo Colleges Foundation), The Fund for the Arts and the United Way.
