Financial Wellness Class – Managing Student Loan Debt
Congratulations to Lisa McDaniel, coordinator of Communication, and Jack Robbins, NVC Art faculty. They are the recipients of the 2013 Gold Hermes Creative Award for a poster and marketing materials they created to promote a student sculpture exhibition.
If you read the Eco-Logical Moment last week, you may remember that I suggested five simple changes you could make in your everyday life to help reduce the amount of plastics we consume, therefore reducing the need to manufacture them.

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is a national company with over 1,200 stores. To help with its growth, it moved part of its corporate offices to San Antonio area in 2011. NVC Corporate Solutions and Petco partnered to develop and implement a Leadership Certificate Program for their managers which began in August and ended last week.
Nanette Lechner, an NVC alumni and student specialist in Dual Credit, along with fellow NVC alumni Thomas Rux, have been selected from a group of students at Texas A&M University San Antonio to sit on the panel at the 2013 Critical Questions in Education Conference.

Donating money is a very personal decision and individuals give for different reasons and causes.
Plastic is EVERYWHERE! It is found in virtually everything that is manufactured and sold for our consumption.
For more than three years, NVC has focused on completion as one of its three strategic objectives.
