Although Minerva exemplifies each of the NVC Touchstones in an exemplary manner, the “Community” Touchstone is the most fitting for her.
Minerva is the epitome of community, nurturing meaningful professional relationships and working constructively with colleagues at NVC, across the Alamo Colleges District and with those individuals in the San Antonio community. She consistently contributed her time to NVC initiatives, such as College Connections, Wildcat Days, graduation, and HalloVISTA (to name a few).
Minerva never hesitates to ask visitors and students if they are in need of assistance. She best represents the Touchstone of Community, because day in and day out of her work functions and volunteer activities, she brings an infectious passion of assisting others with great joy.
