Northwest Vista College’s Dr. Thomas Pressly recently participated in the AMPLIFY institute Fall 2024 on Sept. 26– 27 at the University of Texas at El Paso.
The AMPLIFY institute provides a workshop and peer support for Engineering Instructional Faculty (EIF) from universities and community colleges from HSIs around the nation to improve student centered undergraduate engineering education.
Thomas will continue to work online with a small peer group of EIFs facilitated by one of the AMPLIFY coaches to continue to improve and update the engineering curriculum at NVC.
