An NVC New Employee Orientation session was held June 18-19.
Coordinated by Organizational Learning, the objectives of the day and a half session are to complement and support the hiring departments' efforts in helping new employees feel welcome and better prepared for their new work environment.
The agenda is driven by the four C's: Compliance (legal and policy related info), Clarification (workplace expectations), Culture (organizational values), and Connection (relationships and networking). The NEO session is mandatory for new full-time employees. New part-time employees are welcome to attend at the discretion of their supervisors.
