Northwest Vista College Vice President Debi Gaitan will be one of the featured speakers at HACU’s Inaugural Women’s Leadership Symposium on Oct. 27 in Chicago at its 37th Annual Conference .
Debi will be a part of a panel titled “Consejos: Wisdom and Advice from Women Leaders” along with Dr. Beatriz Joseph, the vice chancellor of Student Success at Dallas College.
This program is supported by HACU’s Institute for Professional Development and Leadership, which is dedicated to developing Hispanic transformational academic leaders to serve as inspirational role models for the next and future generations.
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, founded in 1986, represents more than 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Latin America, Spain, and school districts throughout the U.S. HACU is the only national association representing existing and emerging Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs).
