“I would like for everyone to know that Valerie Sommerville of the Veterans Affairs office is a godsend and an asset to the Veterans affairs office on the Northwest Vista College campus.
I like many returning veterans (college students) are probably not so adept at navigating through college life, let alone transition back to civilian life.
However with Valerie's genuine concern, care, and effort to look out for veteran's like myself by leading me in the right direction to seek help for my disabilities with the Student Success/Access office, I was able to gain a foothold on the mountain that is academia.
