Northwest Vista College celebrated it’s first Community Homecoming Court & Parade on Sept. 22.
Congratulations to NVC students Diamond Murphy, Kaitlyn Grace, Gabe Cafuentes, Ian Torres, Shayde Woodard, and Timothy Brown on being selected for NVC’s Homecoming Court.
As part of the application process, students had to choose how their NVC mentors have helped them. The students praised: Tim Hedgepeth, Neil Lewis, Lake Stith, Milton McManigle, Samantha Raymond, Lisa McGoldrick, Bailey McGoldrick, Elizabeth Murray, Melissa Monroe-Young and Juan Venegas
The homecoming celebration was the brainchild of the NVC Wildcats Alumni group. With a 9-person governing board, it’s mission is to inform, involve, and serve members of the NVC family throughout their lifelong relationship with the college.
Community partners lending a hand at the event were Family Services of SA, GM Financial, NVC Math & Engineering Department, The Entrepreneurial World, M&S Engineering, Alamo Colleges HR, Students + Startups, NVC Wildcats Alumni, NVC Advising, Friends of the Arts (FANs), NVC Staff Senate, Well-Made Construction, NVC Career Experience, JP Chase Bank, SCORE, Christus Health, MarVelez Beginnings, and Rhae Snack Spot!
