New Courses

Smoking Cessation: If you’ve tried to stop smoking before and weren’t able to, you’re not alone. More than 70% of smokers want to quit but few succeed without help. This five-week program conducted by a professional counselor from Deer Oaks EAP is designed to give you that help. The sessions explore the smoking addiction, provide guidance to master the first few days off cigarettes, help you master obstacles to staying off cigarettes, and ultimately assist you in staying off cigarettes forever.

DiSC Indra: Consider the words of Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu: “Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power.” DiSC Indra, part of the DiSC family of personal profile products, is a tool that can help us unlock our understanding of our behavioral tendencies. The “Indra” name is an acronym for “IN-Depth Relationship Assessment,” describing how we can use the information gained to improve our relationships, teamwork and communication. The program requires you to take an on-line assessment that produces a personalized report you receive when attending the training program.

The Oz Principle: A three-session Lunch & Learn book review of the best-selling book “The Oz Principle” – getting results through individual and organizational accountability. The study encourages seeing issues and conflicts for what they are in order to take ownership and proactively solve or do what is required; as opposed to less productive strategies of ignoring issues, finger-pointing, covering your tail, or saying “it’s not my job.” You will receive the book at the first session.
