NVC Philosophy faculty member, Andrew Hill, J.D., recently made two presentations at the Southwest Teaching and Learning Conference, which was held at Texas A&M University – San Antonio in early April.
The first presentation was “Using the Exploring Humanitarian Law Program to Advance Learning Goals Across the Curriculum,” which described the successful partnership between Northwest Vista College and the American Red Cross.
Andrew then co-presented “Encouraging Respectful Dialogue and Discussion in the Classroom” with Mary Lynne Hill, Ph.D., associate professor of English at St. Mary’s University.
