About 100 guests enjoyed the opening reception for “Personal Journey,” an official art exhibit of the city’s “Fotoseptiembre” celebration on Sept. 21.
The event was hosted by the Friends of the Arts at NVC (FANs). The reception at the Palmetto Center for the Arts included a wine tasting and refreshments by the Doubletree by Hilton San Antonio Downtown.
Photographs in the exhibit depict travels to actual places as well as metaphorical journeys of personal growth, discovery and transformation. Participating artists include NVC students, faculty and staff as well as guest artists.
A “Personal Journey” dance workshop was also led by Jayne King. The exhibit was organized by Deborah Keller-Rihn and remains on display through Oct. 26. To see pictures from the opening, click here.
