Kazia L. Estrada is the new Faculty Development fellow supporting Northwest Vista College.
She has been an adjunct with the NVC English department since 2011. In this new role, she will help develop professional development and support adjuncts in the Adjunct Certification Program.
Kazia grew up in the Texas Hill Country of Spring Branch. She attended St. Philip’s College culinary school, but instead transferred to UTSA and earned both a bachelor’s and master’s in English.
Outside of work, she is the mom of two rambunctious kiddos: Corban and Kirie. Corban is 8 and Kirie is 4, and her husband, CJ, is her biggest fan and support in life. Kazia said she loves to cook and is teaching herself (with her mom’s help via Zoom) to sew.
