NVC ALAS Graduates
Congratulation to Melissa Aguirre of Public Relations and Ben Ernst of Workforce Education & Training for recently graduating from the Alamo Colleges Leadership Academy for Success, also known as ALAS. They were among 44 employees that participated in the nine-month long program, which was the fifth class and the largest to date.
Ben and Melissa both received leadership awards that were given to them by their peers. ALAS is a leadership program intended for supervisors at the Alamo Colleges. It is a program designed to equip, strengthen and prepare leaders in their roles, and to assist in the execution of the Alamo Colleges mission, vision and strategic objectives. Applications are being accepted for the next ALAS group until June 25.
