Lucy Gauna
has returned to Northwest Vista College as a project director on NVC’s Community Math Project.
As a grant manager, she will be monitoring project activities, supervising and providing guidance to staff for the NVC and UTSA collaborative.
Lucy worked previously at NVC for nearly seven years in Community Development as a program manager for Community Education, as well as a scholarship coordinator.
She has also worked directly with students and programs many years in Student Success throughout the Alamo Colleges District. Most recently over the past several years, Lucy has been at San Antonio College managing the Bae-B-Safe Project.
Lucy says she lives around the bend in Helotes with her husband, raising their daughter and two sons.
“I’m beyond happy about being back home at NVC and to be a part of such a meaningful and innovative project.”
