Northwest Vista College welcomes Josh Smith, LCSW, who is a personal counselor in the NVC Student Advocacy & Resources Center.
Prior to NVC, he previously worked for Presbyterian Children’s Homes & Services for about six years in which he held a variety of positions serving children and their families with therapeutic services.
Josh was born and raised in Austin, but moved to San Antonio in 2014 and now calls San Antonio home. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree and his Master of Social Work degree from Baylor University in Waco.
As a personal counselor with Northwest Vista College, Josh will provided mental health counseling to students needing assistance for their mental health and emotional well-being. He will also collaborate as a team member across a multidisciplinary team as part of the Student Advocacy and Resource Center. His email address is jsmith868@alamo.edu
