Congratulations to Ruth Prieto, who was formerly on the NVC Recruitment team, in her new role as a coordinator of the Alamo Colleges Mobile Go Center.
Her main priority will be to provide outreach that focuses on access to higher education opportunities via the Mobile GO Center, with the ultimate goal of helping to impact the number of students in our service area who enroll into higher education. This is an initiative that is housed in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Success. Programming will include some of the following workshop topics:
-Apply Texas Application Processing
-Financial Aid Information: FAFSA/TASFA Application Processing
-Scholarship Searches
-College Awareness
-Career Exploration/Pathways
Ruth was at NVC for seven years, and eight months.
