The Paseo del Rio Association’s first-ever “RiverFest Battle of the Bands” took place Jan. 12. Four local bands competed for the title of “The Official Band of the River Walk” and $1,000. The winners were “Elementos,” an acoustic ensemble based on the Latin music genre.
“We are so happy to welcome “Elementos” on board as the Official Band of the River Walk 2013,” says Nancy Hunt, executive director of the Paseo del Rio Association. “Their music represents the culture of San Antonio, and will be a great addition to our fabulous events!”
