Did you know that three of our very own employees are helping the Meals on Wheels program in a very different way through its “aniMeals” project?
Since September of last year, Eliza Hernandez, PhD, Emily Marshall and Cherie Burnside have sort out dog and cat food to deliver it to several pet owners in the Meals on Wheels program around the college.
Eliza said the three of them do this weekly and donate their own funds to buy the pet food.
“Some of our co-workers saw what we were doing and have donated money to help buy the food,” Eliza added.
