Dr. Russell Frohardt, dean for Academic Success, Northwest Vista College took part in a June 9 webinar titled, “Community College Undergraduate Research Initiatives to Foster a Culture of Inclusion and Innovation.”
This webinar, hosted by the American Society of Microbiology, highlighted the role community colleges play in diversifying the talent pool for STEM researchers, described nationwide efforts to foster innovative and inclusive research, and discussed opportunities for engagement.
